# BABYMETAL Announces Movie “Legend - 43” Coming to Theaters in December

Starting in 2010 in Tokyo, Japan, **BABYMETAL** combines a fusion of Japanese pop music, kawaii metal, and modern heavy metal that has gained them significant mainstream appeal. The band has been killing it lately, even collaborating with bands like [**Bring Me The Horizon**](https://www.themetalverse.net/bring-me-the-horizon-taking-metalcore-to-the-mainstage/), and [**Electric Callboy**](https://www.themetalverse.net/electric-callboy/)helping bring their music to wider audiences. Originally starting with their audience based in Japan, BABYMETAL has captivated audiences across the world—particularly in the U.S, as they regularly play major American music festivals. 

BABYMETALjust wrapped up their largest-scale world tour from 2023/2024\. The self-titled headlining tour drew in over 280,000 people with grand total of 98 performances. On the last leg of the tour, the Japanese act filmed their full live performance in Okinawa to create their live concert film “*BABYMETAL Legend 43 - The Movie*”. The live performance film includes professional sound clarity, stunning visuals, and impressive production that showed a bright end to BABYMETAL’s world tour.

## **When will the BABYMETAL Movie be in theaters?**

The distribution company **Iconic Events Releasing**, is bringing the metal intensity and Japanese pop culture inspired spectacle of BABYMETAL to theaters as it announces the December premiere of “*BABYMETAL Legend 43 – The Movie*”** for a series of special film screenings across North America.
