**Eyes of A Nihilist** is an extreme metal act hailing from East Anglia, UK, known for their blend of deathcore and progressive [thall](https://www.themetalverse.net/what-is-thall/) riffage. 

The metal act just released their debut EP [*The Common Misconception That We Matter*](https://open.spotify.com/album/0IYgYuvfseyerYiuvZDRkL?si=S3qoIv0BQMu51MpOlhqGLg&ref=themetalverse.net). Since their start in 2022, the quintet had already racked up over 100,000 streams prior to their EP. 

Eyes of A Nihilist is: **Mike Schuno** (Vocals), **Peter Brown** (Guitar), **Tyler Foreman** (Guitar), **Raijin Oni** (Bass), and **Dom Wilson** (Drums).

Guitarist Tyler Foreman states on the album: 

> “This ep was created as an outlet expressing our disdain for humanity, and its fragile transience, studying the human condition and its shortcomings on both macro and micro scales.”

After playing sold-out shows with acts like **Party Cannon**, **Bound in Fear**, **Cage Fight**, **Eschalon,** and **To Obey a Tyrant**, Eyes of A Nihilist are bringing 3 years of hard work to life with their debut EP.

The band also released their official music video for their track *Erase.*

Taking inspiration from bands like **Vildhjarta** and **Humanities Last Breath**, Eyes of A Nihilist take a wildly progressive instrumental style and mix in extreme metal vocals, hard-hitting guitar chugs, and slamming drum grooves to create an overall intense and unorthodox sound that is characteristic of thall while staying true to the intensity of deathcore.
