# Song Review: OOGA BOOGA - "Tardcore"

Brand new Texas metal act **Ooga Booga** released their debut single "Tardcore" on January 3rd. Filled with comical samples like airhorns, meme clips, and over-the-top booming bass explosions–Ooga Booga quickly establishes a not-so-serious and self-aware sense of humor in their music. 

Filled with intensely heavy down-tempo guitar chugging and inhuman death metal growls, the song showcases a brutally heavy and chaos-filled sound as bright dissonant guitar leads add screeching undertones to the track. Soaring guitar solos switch things up before launching back into an onslaught of slowed breakdowns with a meme sample. After a brighter groove section with catchy guitar melodies and thumping bass lines, "Tardcore" fades out with a funky jazz electric keyboard outro.

Fans will love Oooga Booga's comedy through their music and their creative use of surprising elements while blending elements of deathcore, hardcore, and death metal into a wildly destructive sound. You can stream "Tardcore" out on all platforms now.
