Hailing from Delton, Maryland, Self Immolation is a fresh death metal act that released their debut album, *Vile and Depraved*, in March of 2025\. The extreme metal quartet is recognized by their sound, which at its core is raw, intense, and unrelentingly heavy.

Self Immolation utilizes a mix of grooving drum beats, slamming riffs, and fierce death metal growls to create wildly brutal soundscapes that pull no punches. Their debut album, Vile and Depraved, delivers a destructive display of the authentic, hard-hitting sound that Self Immolation has to offer.

The Maryland act’s music takes on a signature old-school death metal sound with a raw mix that adds to the brutality of the band's sound, paying homage to all-time death metal greats while adding their own spin on the genre.
