Reigning from New York, metal act Dishonest Escape released their single "Slow Dissolve" in November of 2023\. The track starts with dark, heavily distorted guitar riffage and distant vocals that soon burst into explosive screams that are echoing and bouncing around the mix, creating a complex and intensely full soundscape. Down-tuned crushing guitar chugs work alongside booming bass to form a fierce instrumental sound. Dishonest Escape utilizes panning vocals with unique electronic effects that create a distinct sound before launching into more traditional extreme vocals, displaying a sense of variety and contrast.
