Sydney, Australia post black metal act, **Kije**, just released their debut single *It's Pronounced Keejay* on July 11th, 2025\. The track jumps straight into action with crashing drum cymbals, bright distorted guitar chords, and distant, lofi screams that showcase Kije's black metal influences. Rapid tempos, technical riffage, and explosive vocals create an equally brutal and melodic sound that balances the contrast between the two excellently. 

With a runtime of just over 4 minutes, Kije takes listeners across sections that sound like modern metal to speeding blast beats. The track blends multiple metal genres into one cohesive sound that is a unique mix of elements from all over rock and metal music.
