Technical Deathcore band, The Last King, released their latest track, "Ancient Master" on December 22nd. The song starts abruptly with aggressive guitar chugging, crashing cymbals, and funky bass lines. Explosive vocals layer alongside brutally heavy instrumentals to create a well-developed soundscape. Technical guitar riffage and dynamic drumming create an impressive sound that displays the band's instrumental talent. Melodic elements such as orchestral strings and drawn-out guitar chords are introduced, furthering the deeply-filled atmosphere and creating a satisfyingly full ambience. 

The Last King throws the listener into the midst of a particularly volatile down-tempo breakdown filled with growling and screaming, incredibly low guitar, and energetic drum work.
