# THE UNCRTN Release New Single "BURNOUT"

Hailing from New York City, **The UNCRTN** have unleashed their latest single, *Burnout*,in collaboration with **Awake at Last**, along with an official music video available on YouTube below.

> Burnout is a song for those who have been hurt by the ones they’ve once loved. It’s a realization that sometimes we have to let the flame burn out and start over. - The UNCRTN

The track starts with a glitching electronic sample before transitioning into gentle vocals and electronic beats. The band wastes no time, and soon a full drum kit and hard-hitting metal guitar riffs are introduced alongside soaring female vocals. 

*Burnout* creates an exciting sense of contrast between crushing modern metalcore guitar, infectious pop vocal melodies, and electronic influences that build a polished, engaging musical style. The song's bridge introduces vocals from Awake At Last, creating a new dynamic between male and female vocal harmonies that build a higher feeling of energy in the track's final chorus, creating a sense of variety and evolution throughout *Burnout*'s 3-minute runtime. 

While other releases focused on a more synth-driven metalcore sound, *Burnout* takes a more alternative style that seems to mix modern metal with influences from more atmospheric metal bands like Deftones. THE UNCRTN's music video uses a distinct low-quality video filter to create a nostalgic look that furthers the alternative vibe of the song.
