New York City alternative metal act **THE UNCRTN** just released their latest single *Where Have You Been* (a Rihanna Cover) featuring multi-genre artist **BVDMIND**. 

The NYC trio takes the addictive pop melodies of Rihanna and re-imagines the song with a cinematic flair that builds with dark synths and electronic influences before launching into drop-tuned metal riffage that delivers unrelenting heaviness alongside bouncing EDM synths. 

Vocalist **Sonia Rose** and featured artist BVDMIND create infectious vocal harmonies that soar across the mix; meanwhile, the track's instrumentals bridge between pop, EDM, and modern metal, creating an upbeat and dynamic sound that transitions between fiercely heavy and intensely melodic. 

*Where Have You Been* marks a new era for THE UNCRTN as the band reintroduces themselves in the build-up to their next 4 that will make up their upcoming EP. The track's official music video is also available now, showcasing impressive cinematography to accompany the band's crystal-clear production.
