**By Scott Fontaine**

**The Palladium** in Worcester has long been a stronghold for the heaviest of the heavy–a place where metal thrives in its most primal and unrelenting form. On March 21st, 2025, it played host to a lineup that left nothing but sweat, bruises, and blown-out vocal cords in its wake. **Whitechapel, Brand of Sacrifice, 200 Stab Wounds, and Alluvial** delivered a night that proved why deathcore and modern death metal are as ferocious as ever.

Kicking off the night was **Alluvial**, a band that refuses to play the role of "just an opener." Hailing from Atlanta, GA, they hit the stage with **pure force**, and **Kevin Muller** wasted no time establishing dominance. His vocals cut through the room like a serrated blade, commanding attention from the start. The band's mix of technical precision and raw power ensured that by the time they wrapped up, the audience was already teetering on the edge of chaos—exactly where they needed to be.

Next up was **200 Stab Wounds**, a band whose name alone sets expectations sky-high. As **Phil Bozeman** later put it, they might just have the **most metal name in all of music**, and they backed it up with a set that was **pure savagery**. Their fusion of **death metal, hardcore, and deathcore** ignited the crowd into a frenzy, amplifying the energy to a fever pitch. Every breakdown hit like a sledgehammer, and the pit was nothing short of **carnage**. They weren’t just another band on the bill; they were a **full-scale assault**, and the crowd was more than willing to go to war.

If there was any doubt about the night’s momentum reaching its peak, **Brand of Sacrifice** shattered it the moment they walked on stage. Just when it seemed like the energy in the room **couldn’t get any higher**, they **proved everyone wrong**. **Kyle Anderson** is an absolute force—a presence on stage that feels nearly unmatched in the genre. Their set featured **fan-favorite tracks** alongside **a few unreleased songs** from their upcoming album, and the reaction was deafening. The new material stands **shoulder-to-shoulder** with their previous work, proving that Brand of Sacrifice is only getting stronger.

By the time **Whitechapel** took the stage, the crowd had been battered, bruised, and tested—but they weren’t done yet. Opening with "*Prisoner 666*", followed by *"Hymns in Dissonance"*, Whitechapel immediately reminded everyone why they sit at the **top of the deathcore hierarchy**. **Phil Bozeman** was in **top form**, delivering gutturals that shook the foundation of the venue. His presence alone put the **entire genre on notice**—Whitechapel isn’t going anywhere, and they still **set the standard**.

The energy **never dipped**, not for a second. The crowd **held strong**, moshing, screaming, and throwing themselves into every crushing riff and soul-shattering breakdown. Whitechapel has evolved over the years, incorporating melody and atmosphere into their sound, but when they want to be **brutal**, they are **unmatched**.

### **Final Verdict – If You Can See This Tour, Do It**

If you get the chance to see this tour, **do not hesitate**. Every band on the bill brought **their absolute best**, and the Palladium bore witness to a night of extreme metal in its **purest** and most **unforgiving** form. Whether it was the technical ferocity of Alluvial, the unrelenting brutality of 200 Stab Wounds, the sheer power of Brand of Sacrifice, or the **deathcore kings** Whitechapel **reaffirming their dominance–**this show delivered at every level.
