FLASHTRONOME: A Metronome for Musicians Using your Camera Flash and much More!

Matt Carkeek was tired of hearing the "click" a.k.a. metronome sound in his recordings and sought out to find a solution where his phone could flash the camera instead, keeping him on time while staying silent in audio recordings/

Matt started searching for apps, but all he found were confusing user interfaces and features locked behind paywalls. Left disappointed and with no solution, Matt decided to create his own app, Flashtronome. What originally began as a simple solution to his problem soon became much more as he added more features with help from his friends in the music industry.

Now, Flashtronome includes a multitude of very helpful features for musicians, including a customizable metronome with options to have the screen and phone flashlight light up on beat, normal audio, or even a vibrating metronome.

Flashtronome also has a drum beat builder with presets ready to go for rock/metal and the ability to record and save your own beats in the app. In addition to that, Flashtronome also includes a guitar tuner, sustained droning notes alongside the BPM, and a learning section that shows how to play chords on guitar and ukulele.

Flashtronone is overall a user-friendly mega tool for musicians, made by a musician. We think a lot of people will find the features in Flashtronome highly useful, and even new musicians, or those looking to learn the guitar, will find it helpful.
