KISS Takes the Stage In World Of Tanks: Modern Armor's Metal Fest 2025

KISS are now added to World of Tanks: Modern Armor as playable tanks and custom voiced characters.

Get ready to rock and roll all night—and fight all day! World of Tanks Modern Armor's third annual Metal Fest is cranking up the volume with none other than the legendary rock icons themselves: KISS. From August 26 through September 15, players can experience the electrifying collaboration between the iconic band and the popular 15-vs-15 tank battler.

Players will be able to dive into two new challenges packed with exclusive KISS-inspired rewards, battle it out in an all-new PvE mode on a custom-designed map, score daily gifts, and more.

The stars of this show are four new Premium tanks, each channeling the raw power of KISS's classic characters. The Demon unleashes hellish fury with its devastating flamethrower, while The Starchild delivers rapid-fire destruction through a lightning-fast three-round autoloader. The Spaceman soars across the battlefield with genuine rocket boosters, and The Catman tears through enemy lines with razor-sharp precision and cat-like reflexes.

"Metal Fest in World of Tanks Modern Armor is pure rock 'n' roll mayhem," declared Gene Simmons, founding member of KISS. "We're bringing fire, power, and pure adrenaline. When KISS shows up, you know it's going to be epic."

The Complete KISS Experience

All four KISS personas spring to life as fully animated 3D Hero Commanders featuring custom voiceovers.

Players can also deck out their favorite tanks and customizable garages with 2D Standard Commanders representing both band members and their devoted fans, plus exclusive Emblems, Inscriptions, and themed Garage Gear.

As Andy Dorizas, Art Director for World of Tanks Modern Armor, reveals:

"All the designs for the Commanders were a group effort with a lot of input from KISS. It was my idea to give The Demon wings—something over the top that captured Gene's persona while nodding to his iconic style. KISS pushed us to fully embrace the fantastical elements of each character. This is KISS reimagined for commanding tanks, each with a look unlike anything seen before."
