LAMB OF GOD Return with Explosive New Track “Sepsis”
Lamb of God release brutal track “Sepsis”, their first original track since 2022’s album, “Omens”.
Today, October 2, Grammy-nominated Virginian metal icons, Lamb of God, are returning with their first original track since 2022’s OMENS. The 3-and-a-half-minute track is filled with blistering energy, crushing instrumentals, and explosive vocals. Blending Lamb of God’s signature heavy metal sound with elements of hardcore and death metal, Sepsis is atmospheric, visceral, and a striking blend of nostalgia with modern production.
“’Sepsis’ is a celebration of the very underground local bands here in Richmond that we really admired when we were just forming Burn the Priest,” Mark Morton shares. “Bands like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger—though they never got widespread attention outside of Richmond, those were the bands we listened to all the time. The song references that stuff in a way that’s a direct line to where we were coming from when we were in the basement writing our earliest material together.”
In addition to the music release, Lamb of God also delivers a lo-fi music video that captures the song’s tension.
