Motörhead announce new album “Killed By Deaf” coming October 31st, Featuring songs from 14 punk artists and a previously unreleased Motörhead Collaboration with The Damned.

Today a very exciting collaboration was announced between Motörhead and 14 popular punk bands including Rancid, Pennywise, The Bronx, GBH, and Fear.

Motörhead are proud to announce that 14 punk artists will be covering their favorite Motörhead songs as punk tribute’s alongside an 2002 unreleased collaboration track between Motörhead And The Damned performing Neat Neat Neat.

While Motörhead is widely known for their impact on heavy metal, they have also had a major influence on the punk music scene. Lemmy and Motörhead are even honored in the Punk Rock Museum, having inspired thousands of punk bands throughout their iconic discography.

Throughout the 14 track, Killed By Deaf — A Punk Tribute to Motörhead you will hear covers of Motörhead from some of the most reputable and successful punk artists in the world as well as an unreleased Motörhead single.

Lemmy once stated:

“The punks loved us. The only reason we weren’t in that lot was because we had long hair, so obviously we must be heavy metal. That was the thinking. But a lot of kids heard us without seeing a picture, so they thought we were a punk band.”
