Poppy Releases New Song "End Of You" With Amy Lee (Evanescence), and Courtney LaPlante (Spiritbox) | The Metalverse.net

Amy Lee of Evanescence, Poppy, and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, recently shared a photo of the 3 vocalists together, causing the metal scene to lose their minds. Everyone wondered what they were teasing and was excited to see what 3 of the most popular female metal vocalists were up to.

On Wednesday, the trio announced that they are teaming up on their song End Of You out September 4th. End Of You showcases each of the vocalists' powerfully distinct voices, starting off with Amy Lee, before introducing Poppy and Courtney LaPlante's vocals that alternate from singing to screaming.

The track showcases a musical style that starts with a hard-rock/modern metal sound before launching into brutal breakdowns and heavy sections filled with screams and down-tuned guitars, drifting more into Spiritbox and Poppy’s musical territory. In addition to the trio of vocalists, Spiritbox guitarist, Mike Stringer, also helped with writing the track, most likely contributing to the song's hard-hitting drop-tuned guitar riffs.

End Of You features a stunningly cinematic music video which shows the 3 singers in wildly different areas from an abandoned theater, to a crystal cavern, to a matrix-esque room of mirrors.
