Atomic Annie Release New Album "Guilt Trip" | The Metalverse

Hailing from Turku, Finland, Atomic Annie is a rock act that released their latest album Guilt Trip on November 20th, 2025.

The band states on the inspiration for the album:

"The themes deal with personal hell, but from the perspective that there is always hope and a path toward something better. It’s hard to talk about problems, and music is an excellent way to process them, because it turns the negative into something positive." - Atomic Annie

The 10-track album showcases the band's unique sound right off the bat, as southern rock influences are quickly revealed. Fuzzy guitar tones, slamming drums, and classic rock singing vocals create a sound that lies somewhere between hard rock and metal with a twangy edge to it.

Anthemic choruses remind of traditional rock hits with their catchiness, while shredding solos and upbeat instrumentation create an exciting sound that draws listeners in. Atomic Annie does an excellent job of creating a sound that invokes a sense of nostalgia for '90s-esque grunge/rock while keeping a modern twist and up-to-date production quality.

Tracks like I Am God and Repaint the World were released ahead of the album's release and stand out with particularly memorable melodies. Atomic Annie's dynamic sound is up in your face with an energetic sound that leaves you feeling like you can take on the world.

Reminding of acts like 3 Days Grace and Stone Temple Pilots, Atomic Annie brings a beloved classic sound to life in modern times with a distinct, whiskey-drinkin' vibe to it.

You can stream Guilt Trip, available on all platforms now.
