Craig Bannerman Releases New Single" I am the Resurrection and the Life"

Australian solo artist Craig Bannerman released his latest single, I am the Resurrection and the Life on September 26, 2025.

The track starts off with hard-hitting, distorted guitar riffs as melodic orchestral elements fill in the background. " 'I am the resurrection and the life' is the most powerful work I’ve ever been given. It was birthed through affliction, breathlessness, and sorrow–yet became a testimony beyond myself. Musically, the structure of the song parallels John 11:25–26: it begins with doom (lament), descends into oppressive symphonic black metal (death, rebellion, and despair), then breaks with the resurrection riff (life from death), and ends in proclamation (the call to believe). The video was originally taken down by YouTube for its imagery, and my artist profile was removed from Google for three months, yet I continue to spread the song across nations, bearing witness in spite of resistance."
