I Revolt "The End Of Hatred" Song Review and Exclusive Interview

Finnish metal act I Revolt just relased their newest single The End Of Hatred on November 26th, 2025. The band also unleashed a captivating official music video available on YouTube below:

The End Of Hatred begins with bright guitar chords and slamming drum beats that build an upbeat sound before suddenly launching into explosive drop-tuned guitar chugging, and ferocious growls. In another powerful change of dynamics the band bursts into an energetic chorus with soaring singing while reintroducing the upbeat guitar tone.

I Revolt excellently balances contrast between brutally heavy, death metal style verses and bright choruses that introduce more pronounced melody. After the second chorus the band throws the listener into the midst of an intense breakdown and rapid chugging, screeching guitar dissonance, and booming screams create a visceral sound. After a final chorus and a shredding guitar solo, I Revolt catapults into a final breakdown with screeching pinch harmonics, unhinged screams and laughter, and grooving double bass drum beats.

Overall, I Revolt showcases an impressive sound that draws upon classic heavy metal and death metal influences while keeping a sense of melody and memorability in catchy choruses. You can listen to The End Of Hatred available on all platforms now.

How would you describe your music?

Authentic riffdriven groove metal with a blend of old-school sounds and modern twists.

What are I Revolt's biggest musical influences?

There are many, but to name a few, it would be Pantera, Lamb of God, and Decapitated.

What is the inspiration behind The End of Hatred?

The song is about how we should care about eachother more, rather than hate. We should as humans stop fighting about everything and be happy with what we have and respect what others have.

How did I Revolt form?

The band was formed back in the beginning of 2016 with a group of friends that just wanted to make straight forward and hard hitting metal while bringing back the lost form of authenticity and rawness.

What is the story behind the band name?

There were a few names we tossed around, but nothing really spoke to us. Then we found a dictionary and thought we could just find cool words from there to draw inspiration from. Then we came across the word REVOLT, and it stuck. We tried different combinations of words with that word until someone threw I REVOLT in the air, and that was it. It really describes what we are all about, really well, and it's short and concise. Easy to remember. It was a keeper.

What does the band enjoy doing outside of music?

We are all into different kinds of things. But what we all have in common is that we are very active concertgoers. As much as we like being on stage ourselves, we like going to concerts and watching other bands perform. Live music is in our hearts for sure. Other than that, we just enjoy life with friends and family.

What is a band or artist you would love to collaborate or perform with in the future?

With bands like Decapitated and Orbit Culture would be insane, but the ultimate dream would probably be Lamb of God.

What's next for I Revolt?

We are currently working on our first full-length album, so we are fully immersed with that. Finishing the album is now priority number one, and then sharing it with the world and playing live as much as we possibly can.
