Australian Beatdown deathcore act Skarmekal just released 2 new singles on August 29th.

The first track Intro starts off as a hype-up track with an electronic beat, booming 808s, and vocals that are reminiscent of genres like phonk and horrorcore before suddenly distorting into drop-tuned guitar destruction, pitch-shifted screeches, and bending synths, giving a taste of the band's brutal sound.

The next track, Rivers Of Blood, delivers the full depth of Skarmekal's intensity as beatdown drum grooves, ferocious vocals, and crushing guitar riffs create an unrelentingly heavy atmosphere that reminds of acts like thrown. Skarmekal creates contrast excellently between chugging breakdowns, chunky riffs, and hardcore-esque sections that leave intentionally empty atmospheres with distortion and thumping bass lines that make the next transition hit even harder.
