Synchronicity Release Exciting Debut Single: Progressive Instrumental Metal

Promising new instrumental progressive metal act Synchronicity releases their debut single out now!

Brand new Costa Rican instrumental trio Synchronicity just released their debut self-titled track on August 20th, 2025. While the band is a new project, each member is a veteran musician, performing at festivals like Wacken Open Air and Bloodstock Open Air, among acts like Metallica, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more!

Synchronicity starts off with an immediate fast pace, as rapid tapping guitar riffs quickly showcase a technical, progressive metal sound. Bright guitar lead melodies are followed by racing drums, which soon make way for explosive guitar chugs, introducing a technical death metal edge to the track. With no vocals, Synchronicity does an excellent job of filling the atmosphere with impressive instrumentation that is ever-changing keeping things wildly interesting.

From sweep picking to blast beats and crushing beatdown sections, Synchronicity introduces a wide array of metal influences that range from progressive forefathers like Meshuggah to sounds reminiscent of acts like Animals As Leaders and Gojira, and what seems like possible djent and metalcore influences.

that. What we do know is there’s energy in it — and everyone will find
their own meaning,” says drummer Rodrigo Chaverri
